This Masters project focused on user participation methods to include blind people in evaluative design.

I had the pleasure of working closely with her during her time at Be My Eyes and witnessed her being fearless and kind. One of the first things she did at Be My Eyes was go into a grocery store blindfolded and call a sighted volunteer on Be My Eyes to help pick out an item from the shelves. She did it on her own initiative, to better understand our users' challenges. She understands the importance of empathizing with users and is remarkably observant of the small details that make a big difference. I can only highly recommend adding Sofie to your team.

When the Meta Ray-Ban smartglasses were launched, Be My Eyes was among the first apps to be integrated.
Be My Eyes has branched out and formed a foundation doing additional work for the blind and low-vision community, and I got to design their webpage.
Updating the Be My Eyes Android app to Material Design 3 was a fun task that taught me a lot about component libraries in Figma.
My bachelors was the first big project that I did on my own. The topic was very trendy at the time and I wanted to explore possible design solutions.
